Fibre to The Cabinet (FTTC)

 

 

Yorkshire broadband

FTTC is the most common form of Internet connectivity. Fibre speeds are brought to your local phone cabinet and a new updated Broadband router allows you to take advantage of these speeds.Both limited and unlimited packages are available. This is essentially a blend of fibre optics and traditional copper wiring, adequate for most businesses.

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)

Generally more available in commercial parks and estates, FTTP connectivity provides a fibre optic termination in your building, providing much higher fibre broadband speeds for companies that need them and a higher quality of connection (lower latency – better for time critical systems, video conferencing, etc).

FTTP generally comes as a limited connection (a data cap) but with a number of tiers. Most companies never use the quota of even the lowest tier.

ADSL/ADSL2+ Broadband

If fibre isn’t available in your area, we can provide ADSL broadband which can provide download speeds of up to 20Mbps (depending on your location).

Satellite Broadband Backup

For those businesses who simply can’t be without Broadband and internet, we can provide a backup option of satellite internet connectivity.

This is an inexpensive solution to ensure your business remains up and running in the event of an internet outage from your land-based broadband provider.

If you have very poor (or unavailable) broadband at your location, you may wish to consider a satellite solution. Speeds start at 20Mbps, and it’s a reliable and cost-effective solution.
