Our managed co-location hosting service provides clients with a UK-based cloud server location.
The managed co-location service allows you to use the server as your own UK-based ‘cloud’ server, or as a backup/mirror server for disaster recovery purposes.
Your server will be managed and maintained by our in-house expert technicians. Our facilities have been purpose designed for IT support.
Managed co-location hosting
Our dedicated server room benefits from:
- Rack-based Uninterruptible Power Supplies
- 24/7 IP-based Closed Circuit TV
- Access control system

- 24/7 climate control
Setup and Configuration
The server (and associated equipment that you provide) is owned by you. We configure, install and manage it within our own rack. The costs of setup are included within a one-off setup fee.
Your server will have its own IP Address, allowing data to be transferred to/from it accordingly. It is landline-based and provided by Flow. Your server will be proactively managed by CCS. This management includes:
- Monthly server updates and patching
- Emergency patch updates (when issued by Microsoft for security matters)
- Backup testing
- Monthly health checks
Your server will be connected to a CCS-owned Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), in accordance with standard IT practice. The server is located within the CCS server room, which has 24/7 access-control systems and climate control.
CCS’s premises benefit from IP-based cameras are based in every room, with additional external cameras monitoring entrances/exits. All doors remain locked when the offices are closed. Access to the server room is strictly limited to appropriate CCS staff.
Monthly health checks will report any failures or faults and suggest solutions. The cost for attending to these will be in addition to the monthly hosting fee (parts, installation, configuration, CCS time).
